I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and my nails are long for the first time in 10 years and they are
Not breaking! And my hair has grown too! I already ordered my second bottle

Dissolves! Flavor-less

I've been a user of whatever collagen I can get in bulk at Costco and have grown used to the flavor that is added to my morning chai. Let me tell you, this stuff is truly void of flavor! I can't tell the difference between my chai with and without this collagen powder. I'm a huge fan! Now, I read that a big complaint is the price point, but in terms of the per-serving price, it's not a huge difference. Yes, it does cost more, but not as much as you might think. The serving size for those big tubs of collagen powder is two scoops, but for this little jar, it's only one scoop. And the scoop is smaller than those that come with the bigger tubs. Do I still think it should be a little less expensive? Yes. Absolutely. I'm merely pointing out that it's not quite as outrageous as you might believe.

A good addition to your daily routine

Got this collagen for my hair, skin, and nail routine. The combo of collagen, silica, and biotin seems potent - I've noticed my nails getting stronger, and my nails don't chip as easily. It mixes decently into my morning smoothie too. The product had a strong seal.

But on the flip side, the taste takes a bit to get used to. It's not the best on its own. And it's a slow burn to see results, so patience is key. If you don't mind a gradual improvement and can handle a quirky taste, it could be a good addition to your daily routine.

Smooth, Silky PLAIN Collagen Powder with a Special Biotin (B7) Just in Time for Winter

Back in the last century, my Mom drank gelatin from packets dissolved in water or juice and that’s what I learned to do, especially in winter when the air is dry and cold. I continue her tradition having used plain gelatin which does not dissolve well in cold drinks. My understanding is that people in the past used to eat more assorted meat parts than they do today, so are not benefiting from collagen as food in the normal diet anymore. I like having an unflavored product, as so many offered contain sweeteners and other flavors. Plain is good.

Recently, I have discovered collagen peptide powders that dissolve well in either hot or cold drinks or mix into things like yogurt well. This brand mixes well, has an almost imperceptible scent in the jar, and leaves no aftertaste. It contains biotin, vitamin 7, which you should look up as it seems a natural addition to collagen. Their version is supposed to be special, but I cannot judge that. Time will tell. This is a 6 oz foil-sealed jar, so you should judge the quality vs the price. Says it’s for 30 portions, but myself I just put a teaspoon in cups of tea or juice when I can. With winter upon us, I’m ready for my collagen drink.

Mixes in easy, not lumpy. NOT Vegan. My thumbnails feel like steel now!

I am all about the collagen peptides and have been taking them for years. I mainly take collagen for its benefits to my muscles and joints. However, since I started this regime, I see improvement in my nails, which are notoriously brittle and break when you look at them. My thumbnails have improved so much, in fact, that it is getting difficult to trim them. They're so tough now that I feel as if I could open a can with one!

Skin is a lot softer, too. Be aware, however, that it takes collagen a few weeks to work. You're unlikely to see immediate results. I used for two-three weeks before I noticed I felt less achy when I woke up. Solid product, but NOT vegan. If you're a vegan, there are alternatives out there, do some research.
